Tahini Ice Cream
Bringing a touch of the Mediterranean into your home. I love eating Tahini in so many different ways, and trust me when I tell you, this recipe will change your life!
OPTIONAL: using ice cream attachment for KitchenAid
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Freeze Time: 5 hours minimum
Total Time: 5 hours and 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup raw tahini
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 condensed milk
2 tablespoons vanilla
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
(If you’re not using an ice cream maker, skip steps 1 & 2) In a pot, add your tahini, heavy cream, condensed milk, and salt
Cook until “melted” (about 5-7 min on low heat)
Transfer to the ice cream maker OR if you don’t have one, skip the stove part and using a hand mixer or a whisk, whip until fluffy
Once fluffy and combined, transfer ice cream to a pint or a closed container
Freeze for a minimum of 5 hours, scoop (I added caramel). Enjoy!
